Fernando Mora has worked as negotiator and assessor in major conflicts prevention and resolution for the last twenty years. He has acquired profound expertise in human and minority rights, governance, negotiation, conflict prevention in the use of natural resources and peace processes. He has advised Presidents and Prime Ministers, military juntas, multinationals and United Nations’ representatives. Mr. Mora has worked on four continents in peacekeeping and peace building and served on political missions within the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Council of Europe, and the Swiss Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


Mr. Mora holds a Master of Laws from Fribourg University, Switzerland. He has attended specialized programs at the Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard School of Public Health. In addition, he has studied at the Irish Center for Human Rights where he conducted research on the International Criminal Court. Mr. Mora is an international law specialist and has practiced in Switzerland, Colombia, Canada and Israel.
